1 Month Old!

To celebrate Owen's 1 month birthday AND the fact that it was a beautiful and sunny winter day, Des took him out for his first real walk in the buggy. Since it took like 25 minutes to get Owen ready, Des didn't have the energy to then wrestle Kiwi into her boots - so, Kiwi stayed home for this maiden voyage.

For some odd reason, once I put this funny hat on him from his Nana, he stopped crying.

Other updates? Owen now weighs more than 7 pounds. Now he actually looks like he's wearing his clothes, instead of swimming in them. He's also hitting his crying stride much to his parent's dismay...this increase in crying is supposed to peak at the 6 week mark according to the books - we can't wait;)

Owen continues to surprise us everyday with his development. His neck muscles get stronger everyday and while awake- he's alert and looks like he's taking everything in.

With a packed diaper bag and high hopes, we took Owen on his first fun outing - to the Auto Show. Judge for yourself what Owen thought of it all...does he look like he's having fun or barely aware of it?

Okay, Here is our first attempt at creating a blog, or even posting on one.............Let's see how easy this can be!!

The reason for the blog is to allow our friends and family to get a peak into what's going on in our 'NEW' family through pictures and comments. We will do everything we can to update it as frequently as possible.

As for the name of our blog..............Is it any more fitting...............Sinclair's do rule!!!!!

Let's get to business. Here are some pictures of Owen for everyone to enjoy. I will do my best to put them in chronological order from day1 to day 15.

Day 1

Desiree after 5 hours of labour...........Getting ready to go to the hospital.Getting ready for operation C-Section..........I am hoping with this picture I will get a call back for 'Grey's Anatomy'.

Owen John Richard Sinclair is born. I believe he would be 10 minutes old at this point.
Owen spent about 5 hours in the NICU as precautionary measures, due bruising on his back and legs.
